The class came up with a complete idea that Hamlet will be the only one speaking in Old English. The rest of the characters are based in a modern-day office where the climax of the act, the internal play, occurs during the office holiday party. Tech crew went to Prop Land and found possible costumes for Hamlet, the ghost, and the Queen, as well as a poison vial, and a sword. We also started brainstorming costumes for other characters, including makeup. We chose the places where we would film: MPR, Mckerrow, and the commons. Music crew began to create a soundtrack by trying to find songs that relate to our act. They were waiting for a complete script to cut down the list to a reasonable size. Script crew finished half of Scene 1, which they later finished that night. They agreed to finish scene two on the coming Thursday. Web designers began blogging.
